The Northwestern University Investment Banking Club (NUIBC for short) was created in order for upperclassmen who have secured investment banking jobs to assist, mentor, and prepare underclassmen for success in the recruiting process and for securing employment in the investment banking industry. This club also hopes to increase Northwestern's reach and presence throughout the investment banking industry.
The club recruits sophomores every fall in order to curate a list of members that have the potential to place well in the finance industry. After entering the club, members will gain advice both behaviorally and technically from upperclassmen who were successful in the recruiting process and from alumni in the field. Weekly meetings will happen during the recruitment process as well as other potential meetings (firm visits, firm dinners, firm presentations).
